Below are the rates for classes and other services provided by the studio. You can pay at the studio or online at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. Annual Membership Registration Note: required of all students taking classes at the studio unless otherwise noted $20 one time new membership fee, $10 annual renewal membership fee. Complete/Choreography Classes Complete/Choreography Classes are classes that run for a session (5 weeks - 1 class/week) and run continuously. In that session a student learns technique as well as one dance choreography for the session. You can sign up for a Complete class in person, contacting us at 704-510-5075 or send an email to us. Please check out the class and schedule page for session details. NOTE: Registration into a class is on a first come first serve basis and is confirmed with your class card payment. You must sign up for a Complete/Choreography Class at the beginning of its session, or you must wait until the next session to join unless the instructor allows you in. Spaces are limited. In the meantime you're welcome to participate in our specialty classes! Specialty Classes A Specialty Class focuses on a particular part of bellydancing, whether it is a certain move, prop, or preparation. The focus of a specialty class is subject to change at any time. Specialty classes run continuously. There are no choreographies learned in these classes. Class Cards & Rates A student can use their class card to customize their learning experience! A student can use their class card for any class that corresponds to their dance level. Please note that one class taken means one class is used on the class card. Class cards do have an expiration date and there are no refunds. Payments for purchasing class cards are listed below. We now have a new card called the Unlimited Class Card. The Unlimited Class Card will allow you to take any class in your level for a 5 week session for a flat fee of $75. Unlike the 5-Class Card, you are not restricted to the number of classes you can take; you will be allowed to take all of the classes in your level that you desire within the 5 week session period. If your Unlimited Class Card is purchased after the start of the 5-week session, you will be charged the pro-rated charge for the card (number of remaining days left in the 5-week session after week 1). The Unlimited Class Card will have the same 5-week session schedule as the Complete Class. Please note that there are no adjustments in the Unlimited Class Card pricing for holidays, teacher workshop days or inclement weather. Be advised that "Complete" classes still have a registration date so you must be sure to sign up for your level if interested when the time comes. Check out the session schedule for details. Attention Current Students - realize the power of a friend! Invite a friend to sign up as a new member at the studio and received 20% off your next Unlimited Class card purchase! ATTENTION BALLANTYNE STUDENTS: Your registration and payment of $60 is made to the Ballantyne Resort. Should you wish to have the same Unlimited Class Card Experience, you would pay the remaining $15 plus your new membership fee of $20 to Lotus Dance Studio. Class Cards - Adult Rates 5 Classes = $60 (expires 6 weeks from purchase date) Unlimited Class Card = $75 (expires at end of the session) Class Cards - College Students (must present College ID to apply) 5 Classes = $55 (expires 6 weeks from purchase date) Unlimited Class Card = $70 (expires at end of the session) Class Cards - Teen Rates (ages 13 - 17) Note: No membership registration fee required for teen student if taking classes with parent. 5 Classes = $55 (expires 6 weeks from purchase date) Unlimited Class Card = $70 (expires at end of the session) Class Cards - Children Rates (ages 6 - 12) Note: No membership registration fee required. Parent must attend with child. 5 Classes = $40 (expires 6 weeks from purchase date) Unlimited Class Card =$55 (expires at end of the session) Drop-In Rate Drop in classes are $15 for adults, and $10 for children (ages 6-12). Membership fee does not apply for classes you wish to drop in. Students are allowed to drop in any of our non-"Complete" classes (classes that don't have the word "Complete" in the name) Private Instruction To be offered outside of normal class schedule $45/1 hour for member student $55/1 hour for non member student Group Instruction To be offered outside of normal class schedule $135/1 hour Student Level Advancement All students new to bellydance will start in Beginner's courses and will advance to the next level at the permission of the instructor or at the completion of level requirements. All students new to Lotus Dance Studio will start at the Beginner level unless otherwise instructed by the Lead Instructor. If you wish to test up to a higher level, you may schedule a time with the studio. Assessments can be done at a fee of $25, which can be applied to your Class Card if purchased on the same day. Hire A Dancer Dancers are available for birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, etc. Below is the pricing structure. Please contact us for any additional questions or details. One dancer, one set (3 songs) = $125 Duet, one set (4 songs) = $235 Additional sets = $100 Travel fees apply if traveling outside Charlotte. Specialty props (fire poi, fire fingers, sword, veil, candles, cane, zills, etc.) available at extra cost. Special rates available for restaurant owners! Gift Cards You are welcome to purchase gift cards for 5-Class or Unlimited Class Card with the option to include new membership fees if the recipient is a new student to the studio. Gift Class Cards expire 6 months after purchase. Once the recipient starts classes on the card, the expiration date will follow the regular class card expirations. Gift cards are now available at the studio or online purchase below. Please indicate that you wish to make your purchase a gift card purchase when you make an online payment. We will mail the gift card to you after purchase so please confirm mailing address. Online Purchasing You can now make purchase of your class cards online using PayPal! Below are links for purchases with the new membership fee or without the membership fee (for existing members who wish to refresh their class card). New members will be required to fill out Medical Waiver form upon arrival for first class. Please note session that class card applies to.
